busy year

Its been a very busy year. unfortunately we both have to work for a living. more adventures to follow this summer (hopefully)

Food Network Wine and Food Festival

Adele and I went to the Food Network Wine and Food Festival in Chelsea Market over the weekend and it was great. We saw a demonstration by Alton Brown and Ming Tsai. Who knew they were so funny. It was really fun but next year we will get tickets early for other things too. Chelsea Market is always great to go to and Manhattan in the fall is fun too.

Yea!!! We're going again this year. I can't wait. We signed up for Alton Brown (my personal favorite) and Ming Tsai. We will have a great time again and some more pictures.

The summer is going by very quickly and it will be time to continue baking full steam. I'm going to try all of Martha Stewart's Cupcakes in her new books which is very nice. I'll keep you posted. Barbara and I are also going to the FoodNetwork NYC Wine and Dine expo in October in NYC and it's a blast. We have tickets for Alton Brown and Ming Tsai to see them cook.

It was really great. My sister and I saw the new movie Julie and Julia - excellent. For anyone who cooks or bakes, this is the movie to see. It was a great insight on Julia Child's life too. Go see it!!!!!
